- Developing, maintaining, and implementing project-specific regulatory compliance procedures.
- Providing appropriate reporting to both the project management team and the client.
- Reviewing national regulations identified by the legal advisor, informing the project team of the applicable regulations at each phase, and providing clarification when needed.
- Ensuring that all regulatory compliance documentation is properly maintained and available.
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive permits register.
- Implementing a CE/UKCA marking strategy and supporting the project regarding applicable EU/UK directives (PED/PE(S)R, ATEX, Machinery Directive, etc.).
- Adapting workflows and cascading requirements to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Managing the contract with the Notified Body (DNV), including execution and follow-up.
- Coordinating workflows between DNV and internal technical disciplines.
- Ensuring all required compliance activities are performed by subcontractors and vendors, coordinating efforts with DNV.
- Being the single point of contact for the DNV contract.
- Ensuring successful contract execution and preparing necessary annexes when extending the contract.
- Overseeing commercial and contractual closure of the DNV engagement.
- Ensuring issuance of UKCA certificates by DNV, factory declarations of conformity, and any other compliance documentation required until final client handover.
- Ensuring all third-party exchanges are timely and of high quality, cascading requirements down to suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
- Acting as the focal point internally and externally for all the above activities.
